Happy 4th birthday!

You were so excited about turning 4 this year that during the week leading up to your birthday, you kept telling your classmates that your birthday was the day after! And you invited some friends on your own accord and even reminded them to bring socks to the gym! :)

We took quite a long time planning for your party as we didn't want a last-minute rush. At first you wanted to dress up like Princess Jasmine because you liked her long black hair. But later you switched to Belle after we reminded you that Jasmine doesn't wear dresses/skirts - your favourite clothing this past year. When we were about to buy a Princess Belle costume for you, OG was offering a free makeover with every costume bought so we jumped at the chance. Many of the salesladies gathered around to look at you so you were shy and didn't want to do the makeover till we kindly asked them to disperse. By that time, it was already past lunchtime and you were hungry so Daddy had to take the photos in order to get some shy-smiles from you.

You were most excited about Royce Kids Gym as you had never been inside before and we wanted your birthday party to be your first experience there so you didn't go in during our recce trips. You had so much fun running around with your friends like Arinah, Aeowyn, Kate, Jaime and Mikaela. Your favourite play area was the kitchen area.

Then you had a party in school on your actual birthday but we weren't allowed in due to the recent HFMD outbreak. Thank you for helping to pack your goodie bags the night before! :)

And to top it off, you did a great job writing your thank-you letters! :) They look lovely!

We're so thankful to God for blessing us with you these past 4 years and pray that you'll continue to grow up loving God and others. We love chatting with you and our pretend-play moments. Though we often need to remind you to speak more gently or politely, we're glad you listen and learn soon after the reminders. We love you very much! Happy Birthday!
